Teachers

Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche (often referred to casually as the "Khenpo Brothers") are my primary teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, and I feel great love and devotion to them. Khenchen Palden Sherab entered parinirvana in 2010, leaving Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal to carry on their good work by himself -- may all of his aspirations always be achieved!

Mesaworks is the website of one of my teachers, don Oscar Miro-Quesada. Oscar is the creator of the Pachakuti Mesa lineage, which brings together aspects of Andean and coastal Peruvian shamanism. Oscar is a wonderful teacher, with a great deal of heart, and I recommend working with him if you have the opportunity.

The support site for don Jose Luis Herrera, another extraordinary teacher of the Andean shamanic lineage.

I am enrolled in the "Healing the Light Body" program, which teaches a form of energy healing that has been culled from the traditions of the Q'eros of the high Andes. Dr. Alberto Villodo developed and oversees this program. Very different from my training with Oscar Miro-Quesada, the HLB program has been a very positive experience for me so far.

A wonderful non-profit organization founded by Oscar Miro-Quesada. THOTH is working on behalf of the rights of indigenous cultures and for the preservation of Pachamama (Mother Earth). Inspiration

Alex Grey is one of the finest visionary artists living today. Famous for his transparent figures that reveal both the physical and non-physical anatomy, his work is always vibrant and thought-provoking.

Alex and Allyson Grey's organization dedicated to art and spirituality. Located along the Hudson River in Wappingers Falls, NY, they hold full moon gatherings and various workshops, and have developed a wonderful community of artists and creative spirits.

My brother Larry's website. He is an excellent musician, composer and engineer. His band Springhouse has released 4 records. He has been involved with the Blue Man Group from the very beginning and played a big role in composing the music for their shows. He has also been involved in numerous other projects. Way to go, bro!
